In mid 2018 a client approached CTI to design and manufacture a motor controller for a pressure washer being sent over to Mongolia.
After initial consultation with the client it was revealed that we were to design the control system in accordance with a set of guidelines provided by another electrical engineering firm who were already familiar with the client and the Mongolian laws and regulations.
Over a period of a month we liaised with this other firm, iterating over the design until both firms had reached a high level of confidence in product. Having reached this milestone, manufacture and assembly of the control system was the sole responsibility of CTI.
In time for the clients deadline, CTI had assembled the unit, motor and all, ready for airfreight to its intended destination: a mine in Mongolia.
